Be Filled with the Holy Spirit

Be Filled with the Holy Spirit

Ephesians 5:18
Don’t be drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life. Instead, be filled with the Holy Spirit

Isn’t it interesting that Apostle Paul uses such a contrast. Instead of being drink with wine, be filled with the Holy Spirit. It is as if they are being seen as opposites. Drunk with or ‘drunk’ with the Holy Spirit. In other words be overcome with the Holy Spirit. He was speaking to Christians who obviously were born again and thus had the Holy Spirit living in them. Thus there must be the ability to have more of the Holy Spirit. To have an abundance of the Holy Spirit. Continue reading “Be Filled with the Holy Spirit” »

God Wants to Work Through You 2

God Wants to Work Through You

Many, if not most of us, who do ministry are working for God, when God wants to work for us. He doesn’t want us to work so hard that we drop dead for Him. The work of the ministry is vital, even critical, and it is time sensitive.  We certainly need to take ministry serious. However, God still wants us to find time to rest and be with family and friends, enjoying the good things freely bestowed on us.

What Fire Burns in You?

what fire burns in you

What Fire Burns in You?

For many it is the fire of sin and the fire of worldly passion. Seeking the things of this world with a fervency. If you are a Christian this is a question that you must absolutely ask yourself. You are obligated to ask yourself. If you don’t you will most likely be a carnal Christian. A Christian that seeks the pleasures of this world rather than seeking the fire of God to purge the world out of you.

Are You Flammable?

Are You Flammable?

This post is for those who have been reading our daily articles on this topic. I have a question for you? Are you flammable? In other words are you a person that wants the fire of God to burn in you, flow through you, and ignite others? Do you want to be filled with the Holy Spirit and to be used by God to perform signs and wonders? Do you want to be so transformed by God that others know He is in control of your life? ALL FOR HIS GLORY ? If so, you are flammable.

Not sure? Or you may ask “How do I get there?” This article will answer those questions.

Here is what you can know. If these articles do not stir up any kind of fire in you, do not stir up faith in you, do not create any hunger in you to know more about the Holy Spirit, or do not create a desire to have a closer relationship with God, you are probably fireproof, not flammable. Our next post will address the topic of being fireproof. Hopefully that is not you.

Megethos-Unstoppable Potency

Concepts from the book Holy Spirit: Are We Flammable Or Fireproof? by Reinhard Bonnke.

As Christians we have the Holy Spirit living within us and thus have access to the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the grave. (Romans 8:11)

A powerless church is a disgrace. The Holy Spirit is always in on the act when you act for God. If you don’t work for God, you don’t need power, and none will be given.
Reinhard Bonnke

A follower of Christ who desires to be a vessel of honor used for the Kingdom of God has access to an unstoppable power through the Holy Spirit.  Unstoppable potentcy, super greatness, hyper megethos.

The Impossible Happens

Concepts from the book Holy Spirit: Are We Flammable Or Fireproof? by Reinhard Bonnke.

God’s divine nature is not only amazing and supernatural, it is miraculous.

The Divine nature is not just supernatural; it is miraculous. God’s power, love and goodness transcend all matter. Where the presence of God is the impossible can happen.

There is no such word as impossible in God’s dictionary. THE IMPOSSIBLE HAPPENS WHEN GOD IS AROUND. IT IS HIS hallmark.

The Miracle Holy Spirit

God of Wonders
The Miracle Holy Spirit

Concepts from the book Holy Spirit: Are We Flammable Or Fireproof? by Reinhard Bonnke.

God and His Holy Spirit are synonymous with miracles. The God of heaven is a miracle working God.

The only Spirit that Jesus promised us is the miracle Spirit-the Holy Spirit. There is no non-miracle Holy Spirit. To claim to possess the Holy Spirit and deny the very work which has always distinguished Him can only grieve Him. The Holy Spirit, who made the world supernaturally, should have no difficulty in continuing supernaturally.

Beyond Your Expectations

Beyond Your Expectations

Concepts from the book Holy Spirit: Are We Flammable Or Fireproof? by Reinhard Bonnke.

Our natural tendency is to doubt and rationalize away the miraculous. We allow physical circumstances to talk us out of believing in miracles. But Ephesians 3:20-21 lets us know God is able to exceed our expectations and even our wildest dreams.

Ephesians 3:20-21 (ASV)
20  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21  unto him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all generations for ever and ever. Amen.

Thoroughly Bathed

Thoroughly Bathed

To be baptized is to be dipped repeatedly as dying a piece of cloth, to submerge completely, to bath/cleanse thoroughly by submerging, to overwhelm. Thus the baptism of the Holy Spirit is a complete immersion of your entire being–spirit, soul, body–into the Holy Spirit. It is not partial, symbolic or temporary. Every part of your being is dipped and thoroughly bathed in the Holy Spirit.
