Revelation 3:1-6 (NASB77)
Church of Sardis
1 "And to the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars, says this: ‘ I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead."
You are alive, but you are dead-You can know Jesus but be dead, asleep in your relationship with Him. You can have a religious relationship but not a love relationship.

Church of Thyatira
18 "And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: The Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet are like burnished bronze, says this:

In our last posting we addressed the topic of what day is the Lord’s Day? It is clear in Scripture that Saturday or the Seventh-Day is the Lord’s Day. So if that is the case why do most Christians believe that Sunday or the First Day is the Lord’s Day. Many will say it is because Jesus resurrected on the First Day of the week. Many people say the Lord’s Day is the First Day of the week-Sunday. Is this because the Bible defines Sunday as the Lord’s Day or is it because of the tradition of man? Many say Sunday is the Lord’s Day is because of Resurrection Sunday. But again, is this what the Bible says or the tradition of man? We are looking to the Bible, not man, for the answer.
10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet,
Lord’s Day: Man does not decide which day is the Lord’s Day. The Lord, God decides. What day did He call His? The Sabbath Day, seventh day of week. God is the author of the Lord Day and only He can change it. No evidence that He changed it. (We will be posting a biblcial study on the Lord’s Day and link it here later.)
Sound of trumpet: To fix his attention, an alarm

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John,
Revelation: not detailed future, but overall future; the book is about Jesus second advent
The revelation came from God to Jesus to angel to man, thus the revelation came from God. The Father reveals Himself and His will in, and by, His Son.
