Leaves can be a good thing. Leaves through photosynthesis turn carbon dioxide into oxygen. Leaves can be used in compost. Leaves are beautiful in the fall. But leaves can also be a nuisance in the fall.
Money, Friends, and Entertainment can be good things. But at times they can be a detriment.

Entertainment can help us relax, can bring joy, can create an atmosphere for healthy fellowship. But there can be bad entertainment or too much of it.

Money, Friends, Entertainment
Have any of these become leaves, leaves, leaves in your life? There are many other ‘leaves’ in our life. Ask God to show you what good things are in your life that have become detrimental to you. Work, family, even ministry can be out of balance in our lives.
Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what needs raked and removed from your life.
This is a good time to do a heart check. Get your heart right with God. It may just be time for CPR.
C-Confession. Confess to God where your life has been out of balance. Ask Him to remove all shortcomings.
P-Praise, Give God praise for the cleansing power of the Holy Spirit. Give God praise that He is the one who delivers and sets free.
R-Repentance. Once you have confessed before God and have given Him praise, you now need to Repent. Obtain the grace of God to turn away from the sin that so easily entangles. Start tithing, start making new friends, find joy in serving God and others.
