The Man and His Two Greatest Executive Orders
As many are praising President Trump for his executive orders and others are totally fighting against his executive orders, we all must remember that there is a man greater than president Trump. THE MAN is the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus while on earth issued to ‘executive orders’ that no court can rule against.
Every human being is to obey Jesus two executive orders. However, without Jesus as your Lord and Savior it will be impossible to follow obey his executive orders.
Matthew 22:36-39 (NASB)
36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”
37 And He said to him, ” ‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’
38 “This is the great and foremost commandment.
39 “The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’
Jesus first executive order is to love God with everything within us. If we are to honor this executive order, we are to love God more than anything else. More than our political beliefs or even our nation.
Jesus second executive order is to love our neighbors as much as we love ourselves. We should see others just as important as ourselves. This means we should show others the same respect as we would like others to show us.
In order for these executive orders to be obeyed we need Jesus giving us the power to obey them. This takes Jesus becoming our LORD and Savior. Do you have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ that empowers you? If not, learn more about having a relationship with Christ, click here.
