How to Reach Muslims-Part Five 1

Muslims and the Crucifixion and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Muslims do not believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is the foundation of Christianity. Instead they believe Jesus (Isa) never died but was instead raised bodily to heaven by God. They do believe like Christians he will return before the end of time.

One of the ways to reach out to Muslims is to show their arguments against the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ are not logical and have no validity. You may not convince them to believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, but you can create doubt in their mind and thus create an environment where they will be more open to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How to Reach Muslims-Part Six 1

Jesus Returns to Earth

According to what the Bible describes about Jesus Return to Earth as the Messiah and what the Muslims believe is totally different. There is no similarity whatsoever. There is nothing in Scrioture whatsoever that matches up to what Muslims believe about Jesus Return on earth.

According to the sacred texts of Islam, Jesus is not seen as a savior. When Jesus returns, it will not be as the Messiah of the Jewish people and the Gentiles.  Nor will Jesus’ purpose be to save and deliver his faithful followers from the ongoing persecution of the Antichrist.  Instead Jesus will come back as a radical Muslim. Jesus is called Isa (or Eesa) al-Maseeh (the Messiah).  Other common titles for Jesus are Hadrat Isa (Honorable Jesus), Isa bin Maryam (Jesus son of Mary) or Nabi Isa (Prophet Jesus).
Jesus is not seen as the redeemer. The redeemer in the eyes of Islam is one who is called the Mahdi. Jesus role is to assist the Mahdi. Jesus is inferior to the Mahdi, thus he will totally submit to the Mahdi. Jesus will make a pilgrimage to Mecca.

Racism in America-Part Ten 13

ben-carsonRacism in America-Part Ten
Dr. Ben Carson on the issue of “Black Lives Matter”

If anybody is qualified to address the issue of racism it is Dr. Ben Carson. The following is an op-ed he did in USA Today.

The idea that disrupting and protesting Bernie Sanders speeches will change what is wrong in America is lunacy. The “BlackLivesMatter” movement is focused on the wrong targets, to the detriment of blacks who would like to see real change and to the benefit of its powerful white liberal funders using the attacks on Sanders for political purposes that mean nothing for the problems that face our community.

The notion that some lives might matter less than others is meant to raise anger, if not rage. That anger is distracting us from what matters most. We’re right to be angry, but we have to stay smart.

Of course, the protesters are right that racial policing issues exist and some rotten policemen took actions that killed innocent people. Those actions were inexcusable and they should be prosecuted to deter such acts in the future. Continue reading “Racism in America-Part Ten” »

Solution Six-Police and Racism, The Solution

Like all the other articles we have written on this topic we must first acknowledge that there is racism in America. There are police officers that are racist. Police officers are human beings and as long as their are human beings there will be some forms of racism. There are White officers that are racist toward minorities. There are Black officers that are racist against Whites. There are Black officers that show a prejudice against Blacks. These are all facts that cannot be denied. So are there any solutons? Yes. This article is not going to go in-depth in regards to the problem and the solutions, that would take a book. We will just address some aspects of this issue and some solutions. We are going to address this topic in the realm of the current events of racism by police in regards to Blacks, acknowledging racism has no color limitations. How to Reach Muslims-Part Seven 2

Comparing Muhammad and Jesus

The following is a list of comparisons between Muhammad and Jesus. It is based upon their sayings and their actions. It will be obvious that there is a huge difference between the two men. In regards to trying to reach a Muslim, try to get a conversation going in regards to Muhammad. They will most likely speak highly of Muhammad and share some of the good things he had to say. In the midst of that conversation you can then ask them if you can bring up some things about Jesus. Most Muslims (Moderate Muslims) will see Jesus as a lesser profit than Muhammad but a good man They will not normally be negative about Jesus. Try to get them to say that Jesus was a good man, a good teacher, etc. That should not be hard for them to do, because most will say this when talking with a Christian. At this point start making a comparison between Muhammad and Jesus. At some point they will stop you because it will become obvious that Muhammad is not the great man they have been taught that he was. Ask them if they can tell you of anything that Jesus said or did that was anything comparable to Muhammad. Continue reading “How to Reach Muslims-Part Seven” »

How to Reach Muslims-Part Eight 2

Basic Differences Between Islam and Christianity and the Koran and the Bible
The following is a short summary showing the differences between Islam and Christianity and the basic difference in the teachings of the Koran and the Bible. Please realize this is a short summary and not an in-depth study of the religions and their authoritative writings.

As you share with the Muslim individual ask them if they can acknowledge there is a difference between the two religions. Ask them which religion sounds like a religion that has a loving God. Ask them which one sounds more like a religion they would like to follow? Ask them what would stop them from wanting to know more about Christianity and Jesus? Ben Carson vs Donald Trump 2

carson-vs-trump3Wake Up American Christians
Ben Carson vs Donald Trump

All I can say is unbelievable. Let me tell you why I say unbelievable.
Christians have a clear choice in 2016 GOP primary between two men who are in the lead in most polls. It is a very clear cut choice. A man whose who’s life shows his commitment to God and biblical principles. A man who is not ashamed to say he is a Christian-a follower of God. His name is Ben Carson.

The other choice is a man who’s life shows he is committed to money and fame. Through his actions and statements it is clear that the Bible is not his guiding force. A man who claims to be a Christian but everything about his life shows that if he is a Christian, he is a carnal Christian.

I will explain in a moment more of why I am saying unbelievable. Christians have been praying for God to raise up godly leaders. They have been praying that godly leaders would obey the call of God. They have been praying that the moral condition of America would change. Yet, many Christians are chasing after and promoting a loud mouth, obnoxious, does not care who he hurts, man whose main goal in life has been money (much of it coming from casinos that feed off of people’s addictions) and fame.

I say unbelievable because as I list below the character traits of the two men, it is unbelievable how many Christians are supporting Donald Trump. Continue reading “Ben Carson vs Donald Trump” »

America-Christian Nation?

America-A Christian Nation?
There are some Christians that say America was founded as a Christian nation. They will argue that the Founding Fathers were Christians. That the pilgrims and puritans were Christians. That those who came to America from England desired a Christian nation. However, history (facts) prove otherwise. Some of the founding fathers were not Christians, but instead theists. There is nothing in the Articles of Confederation, Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, or the Bill of Rights that speak of America being a Christian nation. There are no writings by the Founding Fathers that America should be a Christian nation. Continue reading “America-Christian Nation?” »

My Journey Regarding Abortion 1

fetus abortionMy Journey Regarding Abortion
My Before God Days

I grew up as an atheist. My mom grew up in Christian foster homes and it appears had bad experiences. My dad grew up in  single parent family and had no leaning towards God. (My grandmother was a Polish Jew in heritage.) My Dad was not antagonistic towards God or Christians but lived as an atheist.
In my early years I just lived what I considered a moral life. In my eyes I was more moral than anyone I knew. The older I got the more pride I had. When I went to college I started being around Christians. I then became more vocal about my atheism. I would mock the Christians (many young women). I would be mean to them and push them away with being hateful towards them. I would tell some of them they were nice but stupid. I took pride in being an atheist. I would act like I am more moral than them. Continue reading “My Journey Regarding Abortion” »

Animal Rights and Abortion

animal-rights-weak - Copy - CopyA Challenge to Animal Rights Supporters that Support Abortion
Is your position based upon logic and reasoning or based upon emotions and feelings? Is your position based upon facts or emotions and feelings?

Your Perspective on Animals
It is obvious that you believe and feel strongly that animals need to be protected from abuse. I would assume based upon the following:
1. Animals are beautiful and wonderful creatures, and for some of you they are God’s creation.
2. Some of you believe that animals are equal in value to human beings.
3. They are vulnerable and need to be protected.
4. No one should enter a preserve and kill and animal because they are to be protected.

Your Perspective on Abortion
I would assume you support abortion based upon at least one of the following:
1. The fetus is not fully human until fully developed.
3. The fetus does not value until it is born.
4. The fetus is not fully human until it can live viably outside of the womb.
5. No one has a right to tell a woman what to do with her body.
6. Abortion is not murder.
