Jesus is coming soon…Do you know him?

Do you know that God loves you so much, he gave his only Son; so that if you believe in him, you will not perish, but will spend eternity with him in heaven? (John 3:16; 1 John 5:13)

Do you know he forgave you and healed your diseases? (Psalm 103:3)

Do you know his Spirit can dwell in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16)

Do you know his voice? (John 10:4)

Do you know his will for your life? (Acts 22:14; Ephesians 1:17-19)

Do you know him as friend? (James 2:23)

What we don’t know is the day or the hour in which he will come!  (Mark 13:32)

If you want to know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and would like to be made alive to ALL his promises in the Word of God, say the following prayer and believe the words with all your heart.  You WILL be born again!  (Romans 10:9)

Jesus, come into my life.  Forgive me of all my sins.  I ask you to cleanse my heart, and make me a new person in you right now.  I believe that you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross for me and all of humanity.

Jesus, I want to thank you for loving me enough to die for me.  I accept all that your shed blood bought for me on the cross, and I receive you as my Lord and Savior today.  In your name I pray, Amen.

If you have just prayed that prayer, welcome to God’s family!  In the New Testament, II Corinthians 5:17 says, “…old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”  In God’s eyes, you have a clean slate, and his Spirit will give you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him.  (Philippians 2:13)

My prayer is that I will celebrate eternity with you in heaven; with Jesus, our wonderful Lord!

Student of Diligence

Matthew 25:15  “And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.”

Unlike past blog posts, this one is short for several reasons.  I feel bad for not having been as active on this site as in time past.  Secondly, I will explain it by saying I have endeavored to be a student of diligence in an assignment the Lord has given me.

In going about our Father’s business, the ministry has really picked up momentum!  I don’t need to list the servings on our platter; we all seem to have plenty!  I am truly enjoying my Bible College studies and that is what takes up much of my extra “down time”.

I am doing my very best to live out II Timothy 2:15, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”  Thus, the title of this post:  “Student of Diligence”.

I pray this post will serve as a nugget to encourage everyone; to take the talents God has given you and INCREASE, or MULTIPLY them!  We all should want to hear, Matthew 25:21 “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”   Oh hallelujah…God bless you!
