“…for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.”   (Ecclesiastes 10:20)

As I communed and prayed in the secret place with my Beloved, His Spirit gave me a thought about a widow woman I recently encountered.  He told me to tell her, “She is to be like a carrier pigeon for Me.”  GLORY…I was so excited!  I knew that carrier pigeons were used during wartime, to get messages across enemy lines or from command posts to the front lines of an army, and back.  Their job was, and still is, a matter of life and death; victory or defeat.

“It takes blind faith and unconditional obedience to follow Me,” saith the Lord.  During this past week, these words and the scriptures that follow, formed today’s blog post.

Hebrews 11:1  “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  For by it the elders obtained a good report.”

In your prayer closet, have you had occasion to tell God just how hard it is to do some things He asks of you?  Hopefully, you have had many occasions in your journey; because that IS what blind faith and unconditional obedience is all about.  According to how I interpret scripture, feeling stretched to the limit, over-whelmed, or any other adjective you can think of, IS the life of a disciple of Jesus Christ.  None of it however, is beyond our capability.
